Game Thread: Nebrasketball @ Michigan State

Well, it is clear to see at this point that if an act of God happened and Nebraska won this game they would be instantly launched into the NCAA tourney conversation.

The honest truth is, the line on this game is Michigan State -13.5..........and if I was an outsider I would easily put $5,000 on Michigan State covering that.

I do not expect Nebraska to keep it within 15 points. Unfortunately, I believe Michigan State is one of the top 4 teams in the country, regardless of whether or not they have Keith Appling ready to go. They are just that good.

My hopes are that Nebraska can finally go on the road and compete against an elite team at least into the 2nd half of play.

We can't have just 1 player scoring.......we'll need at least 2 to score over 20 points......and then excellent Defense on top of that.

Still, I can't wait to watch thee Mighty Huskers!!!

Worst thing that happens today is Nebraska drops from T-6th to T-7th in the conference standings.

The winner of Minnesota @ Northwestern will take sole control over 6th place.

Huskers will need to keep turnovers under 10 and have damn near everything fall from outside the paint. Not impossible but not likely.

Nebraska did finally bust their road cherry against Northwestern 8 days ago, but they'd probably lose this one at home by 10+

On the bright side, the remaining 6 games after today are coin flips.

Yea....this is no doubt the time to get a win like this.
