The question is whether or not the team has thrown in the towel? They really haven't done anything promising since mid-December. The home win over Mich St on Jan 24th looked to be a turning point, but they've laid 3 eggs since.

Isn't it amazing? Before the season Nebraska was picked to finish 2nd in the Conference behind only Wisconsin.

We were projected by CBS Sports to be the last team in the country to be undefeated before finally losing a game.

Joe Lunardi had us as a 4 seed at one point.

I will still cheer my ass off tonight. However I think any talk of even a slight chance of sniffing the tournament is laughable and should stop. Only way they make it is by winning the B1G tournament.

I don't agree.

Get to 18 wins before the B1G tourney with 2 of those wins being against Wisconsin and Maryland and we will get in with another win in the first round of the B1G tourney.

We have a much better shot at beating Wisconsin and Maryland both in Lincoln than we do winning that B1G tourney.

My expectation was for the NCAA Tournament, but I didn't go as far as expecting them to win a game.


FSU and Cincinnati were promising wins, then came reality. Michigan St brought a bit of promise back, then reality set in again.

They weren't playing the top half of the schedule either. Nebraska's already struggled against the bottom half this season.
