Not sure I understand this one. X hasn't been any good since 2008, has no speed, and is not a particularly good defender. I give Sabes the benefit of the doubt here - maybe he was injured and is just getting over it.

HS in Salinas and went to Berkeley.

Once the rosters expand, he'll be a decent power bat off the bench. Nothing more.

If he's ever called up (he'd have to be put on the 40-man). This is probably just as much that *Fresno* could use an extra outfielder (as well as the "you never know, he's cheap and he might be useful").

Edit: Nady has already played for the Grizzlies - he went 0-4

Marty Laurie said on KNBR that Nady had tommy john and cant throw, so all he would be is a pinch hitter, and i guess in a pinch he could play first.
