Yall should be happy, you made it through a trap type game. Now you play FSU, right? Tht should be a great game. Sure would like to see them get beat, even if it's you guys that do it!

I think you might be asking for miracles right now. The way we played today it would really take a perfect game to be in it.

UNC exploited our D all day long. I'm sure this will give FSU a very good blueprint.

FSU doesn't run the same kind of offense as UNC. I doubt they're going to rewrite the playbook just for us. That said, their OL is leagues better than UNC's and if our blitz can't get get home against UNC, it won't against Winston. I am more concerned about their defense killing us.

i suppose it is and nd will be 4th or 5th ... but other than stanford, the combined record of the teams they've beaten is 12-19.

There are easily six teams better than Notre Dame right now. FSU, Mississippi, Mississippi State, TCU , Auburn, Alabama, and Oklahoma are all better as far as I am concerned. That's just the way I see it. I'm still happy the season has went well up to date but from here on out it's going to get real hard. Top ten perhaps, top five, no way. I just can't make that leap.

Don't worry domers. Coach Lou said after the FSU game that ND is going to win this coming Saturday and it would be a big win. He said the FSU secondary cannot cover your WRs, our Dline cannot get pressure, and that the ND defense can shut down Winston. It is in the bag for you guys.

He said all this and that his ties to ND had nothing to do with his remarks.

Lou says that every week. He's actually on vacation. They just re run the same footage on a continuous loop.

PS, here's hoping FSU doesn't cover up any more crimes this week.

Never throw the little ones back. Take nothing for granted. I will take an ugly win over a loss any day of the week, but especially on Saturdays.

Still a nice season but now is when we have to step it up. Even if we lose to FSU I want to see us play a solid game and finish this great start of a season off right. We must beat both ASU and USC for this to be a great season. Lots of tough challenges ahead of us. Kelly is expecting way too much out of Golson. He has to put the burden more on the runningback and o line. They at the very least have to share some of the workload. His coaching today really disappointed me. He kept the defense on the field constantly by his horrible playcalling. We have to be more concerned with moving the ball and picking up first downs than to just go for big plays every series. It has to be a more balanced team effort.

Tough to argue that ... gotta agree.

They have been totally 'underwhelming' since Purdue and shown that they just cannot put inferior teams away.
