Going to try this out... hopefully we get enough participants to make it a yearly thing.

Basically, every Monday I'll put out a slate of games from that upcoming week for you guys to pick the winners from straight up (no spreads)

Each week there will be a winner and we'll keep track of overall records.

If you're in then let me know.

Games this week will be from Thursday-Sunday so we can give people 4 days to make their picks and let me know they're in. We'll add people as we go.

Best winning percentage (with participation requirements) & The person with the best record overall will be the winners at the end of the year.

Suggestion though.
Since you aren't using spreads, there is a strong possibility of ties.
Maybe select one game where you need to predict total combined points scored which would be used as the tiebreaker.

I was thinking something along those lines, but if you are picking days in advance, you won't see a posted line.

It could be done as a confidence pool, meaning you weigh the games 1-12, then add up your total points from the games you win.

Yeah, I meant to add a tiebreaker in. I'll add a couple games with spreads next week, but since I'm picking games from Thursday and on this week the spreads aren't out yet.

Tiebreaker: How many total points do the Nets and Hawks combine for in their game in London? Closest to the total wins in case of a tie.

Good idea, but think it should be a daily thread (with each daily games listed) due to injuries etc....that may happen before games listed to pick 5 days from now.

I would do that, but I know that a lot of people wouldn't be able to keep up and make picks every night.

I'm trying to make it a weekly thing with most of the picks being from tuesdays-fridays once we get rolling just to ensure that there won't be much time for an injury to occur in between those days. If an injury occurs, then oh well... just gotta roll with it. That's why I didn't make handicaps.

I will also only choose games that seem somewhat difficult to predict, that's why you don't see me putting the Bobcats @ Miami or something like that, lol. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

I'll make a few changes next Monday when I release the games.
