Winston/Mariota went 1 & 2 in 2015
Goff and Wentz went 1 & 2 in 2016.

All 4 only lasted 4 years at the team who drafted them and none are looked at as franchise QBs ATM

Man when you go QB that early in the draft, you must hit.

Saw something yesterday (maybe here?) that said not one first round QB drafted between 2009-16 is with team who drafted him.

also heard in mix for a 7-1 recruit who supposedly has SF skills (Chet Holmgren).

I know Brees is toast. But he is just so smart. I think the Saints take a step back if Jameis is QB. And probably 2 if it is Taysom Hill.

Would think Gonzaga being on top had to do with how good they are. Have to think OSU moving close to top could put them in mix. Cannot say I know much about Gonzaga other than really good this season and have a very good coach. OSU should be really good next year as well (with or without him...or is he following season?).

If he's the real deal and comes to OSU we're a #1 seed lock I would think. Possible everyone returns with the extra year allowed.....though not sure what that means for bringing in new recruits.

Am I right that like CFB this year essentially does not count and a senior could come back if he wanted? If so, how does that effect new recruits coming in?

Figure the only underclassman who could leave early is Liddell and could see him staying. He's no NBA lock.
