By years end he was clearly a better player than day 1. The same cannot be said for Wagner. And you have 2 other guys who can play point.

There is no question his players have a higher hit percentage in the league but as Trojan said that isn't his main job.

I've seen several interviews with him. He says that he doesn't push the "one and done". He says that he tells them that he'll coach them, prepare them for the NBA and if they're ready after 1 season, they can go with his blessing.

Assuming that's true, the problem with it is that a 17-18 year old recruit only hears the "I'll prepare you for the NBA and you can leave with my blessing" part. lol

Yeah, I'm hoping that NIL will help with some of that. Maybe it'll get some of these kids to stay for another year or 2 rather than just trying to jump to the NBA right away?

There are a million reasons why the college setup is the most successful avenue. But the absolute biggest is fan interest drives revenue. No one cares about the G League. They aren't nerds for hoops like we are.
