Is that why it got better ratings that the SNF game between Dallas and Philly?
A championship game got a better rating than a regular season game?
Stop the press!!!

According to the people who keep up with it, it's never happened before. Since this wasn't an NFL game between Tampa Bay and Jacksonville, but two of the more popular teams, I think it has merit.
But feel free to keep your head in the sand.
Every year we hear the same stuff: "The ratings this year are higher than ever before". EVERY YEAR we hear this. In baseball, basketball, football, soccer, you name it.
Do you want to deny this?
Of course, because I think you are incorrect. Football has been on the rise lately, but I know that I've read statistics saying that baseball has struggled recently, which is why they have attempted to speed up the game with pitching clocks and the like. I don't keep up with NBA viewership as much, so I wouldn't comment on that, but I wouldn't be surprise that the MLS is up since it's starting to expand into more cities which of course raises how many people are compelled enough to watch it.
If you don't think baseball has been struggling, than I implore you to read some articles about he business of Baseball in terms of viewership. I've even copied one source for you.
Poor TV Ratings Are Hurting Major League Baseball - Reynolds Center
Viewership is up because of the multiple ways to watch games. In the last few years i've been able to see any NBA, NFL or MLB game i've wanted due to Game Pass online. Even though I live over 4000 miles away. They didn't have this as little as 10 years ago.
Pacers better win tonight and McMillan better use his bench.
This. I had high hopes for them this year, but look pretty disjointed so far. New roster, lots of changes, new coaching staff, it's sort of expected.Pacers look like ass
Embiid would have made the game winner if he hadn't turn the ball overThat was such a Philly way to lose a basketball game
Ingram is trashMy Lakers are one of the best young teams in the league and will only get better over the years. We're going through all of the growing pains that young teams go through, but we're competing night in and night out. Luke is going through growing pains as well as he doesn't know when to give up on the small lineups at critical parts of the game
