This is a tough one, but you got Bowen and Artest to switch up guarding Bird. You can't get much better than that. Still like the Bullets

Wow... 10-0... I guess defense doesn't win championships... :noidea:

Bowen and Artest VS Rodman and Wallace should be a great tag team MMA fight

Interesting... So let's so how this would work, I going to post my "Preferred" lineup from the other thread though I would start Zo here, vs his starters as I assume they would be...

PG - Jerry West vs Isiah Thomas
SG - Ron Artest vs Tracy McGrady
SF - Michael Cooper vs Larry Bird
PF - Bob McAdoo vs Dennis Rodman
C - Tim Duncan vs Mutombo

First and foremost I OWN PF and C matchups offensively... It's not even close... Bob McAdoo averaged 22ppg over 14 years with 3 scoring over 30 a game 1 of those at 34ppg, Dennis Rodman 7ppg with a career high of 11ppg... Tim Duncan in 17 years averages 19ppg a career high of 25, Mutombo 9.8ppg with a career high of 16ppg...

Jerry West... Not only a 4x All-D player he averaged 27ppg for a career 4 years of 30+ and still had time to lead the league in assists... Isiah 19ppg career and a high of 22.9...

McGrady and Bird out score Coop and Artest but my guys are both DPOY guys who can stretch the D while my other 3 guys are out scoring his other 3 guys... Difference is his plays will be shooting jumpers vs my elite defenders and my guys are posting up his elite defenders... The benches are pretty even though I would lean me where he would probably lean him...

Anyway, what were you saying about offense again...

look at my team, its all about the offense in the NBA, out of all major sports NBA defense is the least worth because a mistake on defense only costs you a very small percentage of the average points total.

PF/C/PG - 1 team dominates
SF/SG/Bench - 1 team dominates

I would have Laimbeer and Wallace starting personally.
Arizin is blow away the best bench player, game changer and actually league changer.

It should be MUCH closer than it is, tie breaker should be Championship rings but in this game it might be least Technical fouls.

It's a push at 2 gaurd for me. Not my favorite picks for the respective teams. Well, and Mutumbo. Love the guy for his finger wag, no offense though.

I actually wouldn't have McGrady as my starter I would put Arizin as my starter.

While I will say this team I'm facing is perhaps the best team in this I feel either way it shouldn't be 12-3 or whatever nonsense it is... For the record Coop played SG, backup PG and SF... Either way he can switch to TMac and I'll have Bird vs Artest... I come off the bench with Majerle and Bowen both elite defenders... In fact my wing defense is the best in the tourney BY FAR! If you somehow beat 1 of the dribble you then must deal with Tim Duncan or Alonzo Mourning who is a 2x DPOY as well... This means primarily jump shooting... Which goes back to my wing defenders being DPOY players... So while I understand his wings and PG can score, they will have to beat me shooting jumpers over ELITE DEFENDERS!!!

If you think him having 2 guys that out score my guys shooting jumpers, while I have 3 guys who out score his guys then I suggest you take math classes... But here is some help...

27-19= +8 for me
22-7= +15 for me
19-9= +9 for me

15+9+8= +32 for me

19-8= +11 for him
24-13= +11 for him

11+11= +22 for him

32-22= +10 for me...

Now we can mix and match all you'd like but fact remains the way his players will have to score falls into the strength of my team... And if you think jumpers against elite defenders are equal to an inside attack with low defensive play on the perimeter players doesn't matter then you are clueless... By the way most of my starting 5 have multiple rings the other 2 have 1 a piece as is the case with most of my bench players...
