NBA 2k12 vs 2k13

Anyone have 2k12 and 2k13, or have played both? Is there a major difference from each version?

I have tended to buy NBA games year to year, for some reason I get sucked into buying them, but refused to buy this years game due to the fact that all NBA games, or basketball games for that matter, end up being the exact same game year after year without much changes. And after about 10 games they all just get boring and repetitive.

But I Have heard great things about 2k13. However I am hesitant to go and buy it since I have a feeling it is the exact same game as 2k12. I could pick it up for $35, worth it?

dont have nor have i ever played 12 but i love 2k13. Honestly has one of the better "dynasty" (or whatever they call it in this game) modes i've ever played.

i could see how it could get repetitive but i look at it like earning $$$ to buy attributes which is the only way your created player ever gets better so i just try and show out as much as possible during games to earn $$$.

I have played both, they are definitely different. I like 2k13 better, but there is no reason to spend $35 for newer the version.
