His 1990 Great American Bash match against Sting is the stuff of legend.

What an ending.

And I loved the handcuffing to El Gigante as well.

That wasn't my favorite Flair Match.

There was one him and windham did in 86 or 87 for 60 minutes. It's on a flair dvd.

That sting match was #4.

And in my top 5 of all time at #5.

So 4 of your top 5 matches all time have Flair?

I'd love to see your list, btw, I know you're a really old school fan, where my knowedge is more confined to the mid to late 90s and some google searching for classic matches.

Interesting. Is some of that based on historical significance?

Casue like for me here's a few of my faves. You already know Sting/Flair.

Bret Hart/Diesel at 95 Survivor Series
Bret Hart/Austin WM13
TLC Match at WM Hardys/Dudleys/Edge & Christian
Razor Ramon/Shawn Michaels ladder match at WMX

And a fun honorable mention with a shit ending, Rey Mysterio/Eddie Guerrero at 97 Halloween Havoc. You CANNOT turn an outsider's edge into a hurricarana. Bad form, but damn that was intense basically non-stop action.

Also for group pay, 1992 War Games is just fantastic.

The fun part about Wrestling is that we all have our tastes.

WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair is in a medically induced coma and is preparing for surgery.

Flair was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit in Atlanta, GA on Saturday and the situation has worsened. As of this writing, it’s unknown the type of procedure Flair will be undergoing, but it will be happening “momentarily”.

As noted, Flair is reportedly in the hospital for heart related issues, and his manager announced Flair is facing “tough medical issues.

What we do know, based on what was written in Flair’s own autobiography To Be The Man, the former NWA and WWF champion suffers from Alcoholic cardiomyopathy, a condition caused by excessive, prolonged alcohol abuse that can lead to heart failure. When one suffers from that condition, the toxic effects of alcohol on the heart’s muscle leads to a situation where the organ is unable to pump blood efficiently.

Funny. Neither have I.

Honestly. He is one of my Favorite wrestlers of all time (with that being said. My viewpoint is skewed because i'm Canadian and support Canadian wrestlers as well as others).

He was one of my favorites too. You wanna talk about putting your body on the line, Benoit did that almost every match, especially on PPVs.
