One question I'm curious to all, what the fuck is up with Neris? I know it was bandied about how well he did coming back in no pressure situations, but then he really blew up in a no pressure situation. Is the movement not there anymore, the speed, is he tipping it, like what happened?

Lefty Gio Gonzalez (6-5, 3.68) facing Phillies RHP Jake Arrieta (5-6, 3.54) this afternoon. On ESPN but I may get a ticket for this matchup. Jake needs to toss a good one.

Phils have 44 wins at the halfway point and are finishing up the toughest part of their schedule. With more improvement, they should reach 90 wins. Go Phillies!

Bought a really cheap ticket for $4 today in the right field Pavilion Deck. From Vivid on line seating via ESPN sports. About 2 miles from home plate but I never like being planted in one seat for three hours so I watch from above the 3rd baseline field seating and roam around the park working off the pork and beer, so it's a great deal. Damn, the bums charged me $2.50 download fee! Plus they should give me a discount on the $18 parking fee! What the heck, I saved enough money for one day. Can't be too greedy. Wait, maybe I could find a cheap $3 bus ticket from my house to south Philly.
