I mean, you thought this guy was a risk less ten year starter and he never even saw the field! We all have a few, I am sure.

For the Hokies, I would say defensive back Jimmy Williams. Virginia Tech does a really good job of producing DBs and Williams was one of the biggest and fastest and best covering guy they ever had. I was sure he would be a pro bowler at the next level.

....then the weed showed up at his locker. :L

Derek Hagan never really panned out like I thought he would.

Andy Katzenmoyer. He was a decorated freight train in college but wasn't all there upstairs in the pros.

Hmmm, probably DaQuan Bowers. Spiller has at least shown flashes, but Bowers... went from #1 prep recruit to zilch :L

Got to be Rolando McClain. I thought he would be the next big time MLB.

Tony Mandarich?

Both were horrible. I was going with one that was disappointing within the last 20 years.

Rogers played 6 games. Mandarich played 3 seasons.

He might come back; saw an article a few months back that said he wanted to get his personal life straightened out but he felt like football had a place in his future. Prime of our lives is the late 20's :noidea:

Tebow; however those of us who went to the games knew he has no NFL arm and carries the ball behind him in a spot where it is easily tipped.

As a kid who grew up rooting for the Bucks, that was my first thought as well. I will add in David Boston as well. He played and did well but I thought he had a TO like projects career with his ridiculous physical gifts but roids and stimulants are a bad combination.

Pick a QB. Though, Palmer is the only one I thought would be a stud, and he was for a minute. He's having a nice little resurgence at the wrong time. :L

I am sure I could find a bust, but I do not follow the NFL.
