I agree but i'm a bit surprised it's not the yzerman way he does not rush kids up to the nhl.

Yes true, but Nabby was very unreliable and Vassi will be only a backup I'm sure.

Yeah this was the right call at the right time. Nabby just wasn't cutting it and Vasy has played well in his very short time in the NHL and his short time in the AHL. I honestly think there is no confidence in the team when Nabby was in goal and with a tough schedule coming up and a few back-to-backs he would of had to play. With the teams like the Blues coming up and the Preds, Ducks, Kings, Sharks, Blackhawks we need the best goaltending possible especially with the tight playoff race and if we carried on playing Bish we would of killed him by playoff time.

agree but when the playoffs start does vasy go back to play for the crunch in the playoffs ? what good does it do to have him watch bishop in the playoffs ? or will the lightning play the goalie that gives them the best chance to win ?

Nabby had a very good career but seems like he's at the end. I honestly thought he would be a good pickup for you guys as a backup when he was signed.

I think Vasy is here to stay now even through the playoffs, but it wouldn't surprise I Yzerman brings in a experienced AHL goalie who has experience in the NHL just in case either Vasy or Bish gets hurt.

He cleared waivers and is pondering his future, will most likely retire.

Just heard Nabby was traded to SJS for future considerations. Good for him, now he can retire as a Shark. Classy move by both organizations.
