It is interesting. I don't think it happens, but George to the Bulls would create serious matchup problems for Cleveland. Would be a very interesting series if they met.
George is a choker... He never makes many clutch shots at crunch time.

If I am the Pacers,

I would absolutely love the idea of trading George to the Bulls, but I would want at least 1, possibly 2 future picks. Unprotected.

I am thinking 2019 and 2021. Far enough out that the Bulls might not be too concerned, but since George and Butler are both likely to leave before then, these picks could be high lotto selections.

The batch of players listed really don't do much but add roster clutter. I would want something that could be a highly valuable asset.
Fuck. That.

You know what, I really want PG to join the Lakers, but at this stage i'm just happy to wait till 2018 and get him for free.

Any team thinking and hoping to convince him to stay after a year is delusional. George wanted to come to LA before they freed cap space - now he can get a max contract too.

The Pacers are getting far too cocky at this point. If they think they can get much more than the Lakers have already offered, they're more moronic than wiggys posts.

So fuck Indiana - here's to them getting fuck all back in return.
If he gets traded and does well where he's at, can't he make 30 million extra dollars by staying put?

I get the initial idea, And might do it if we kept our pick. The Bulls current FO doesn't have the balls to make a move like that. They are merely content making the playoffs to keep getting a pay check. Going all in on paul George would give Rena ford a convenient reason to fire them when PG leaves.

He can in LA too.

Are teams willing to risk that though?
If he's traded to LA. If a team trades for him, they will probably throw the absolute max at him to make him consider staying there over LA. I think if he lands in a good spot, like Boston, he could stay if he wins a title. LA doesn't guarantee him success. Indy guarantees mediocrity. If he can be shown success and have the opportunity to sign for 30m more, he'll GLADLY take the money.

Don't leave your current job.....stay loyal. A new employer might expect too much. You can't spell bus or George right.

That trade sucks.....

The Pacers are gonna get Clarkson, Randle, and the 27th and 28th picks for him.

My friend at Yahoo says that's what is likely to happen unless things change in the next 24 hours.

I heard it was the two late first rounders plus either Randle or Clarkson. Both is just ridiculous.

Never trust a man with two first names.

Like Michael Jordan? Isaiah Thomas? LeBron James? Kyrie Irving? Paul Pierce? Ray Allen? Blake Griffin? Kawhi Leonard? Derrick Rose? Bill Russell? Hell, D'Angelo Russell? Carmelo Anthony? Tim Duncan? David Lee?

Some of those dudes are more trustworthy than others but damn those are like 2 good teams!

Without knowledge of any player in the deals salary outside of George, you need to make the salaries match. I seriously doubt Clarkson or randle make enough to cover George. Their both average role players anyway. What is so ridiculous about trading both for a superstar caliber player?
