If Riley was really serious about excelling here he would fire Banker also.

Excuse me, but how many years did TA make it....

You don't know shit

:finger:

Did you even notice that TA started getting hurt when he ran a few plays? In the beginning he shunned the run. Oh yeah, Fyfe did well injured, but TA looked terrible when he was injured. Remember Fyfe's left hand?

TA was just as fragile as Fyfe was.

Well it's clear to see why Darlington wasn't in there
He looked small, I hope the taller players that MR prefers have some foot speed. Gosh I hope speed and power return to the Huskers sooner would be better.

Unless the offensive line gets better or gets better tutoring, it won't matter how good our next QB is. Also, our next QB better be an Ironman with that shitty blocking! WOW!

To all of you Fyfe haters... Stick your head in the sand, Fyfe did one hell of a job, and no picks either with some of the worst offensive line blocking I have ever seen.

Hey, I know this is the wrong place to say this but I watched the Husker/Indiana game the other night - great win and looks to be plenty of young BB talent in Lincoln.

Agree on the Zach Darlington assessment. Too bad he was thrown in with terrrible field position and terrible 4th down play.

The bright side

Caleb Lightbourne no longer has Read telling him to punt the ball really high. Caleb just punted.

Caleb Lightbourne had 7 punts for a 42.7 yard average. Pretty good.

This should put Gates plans to bed about getting drafted next year, I haven't seen a tackle play that bad since Knevel and Sterup

Gates went to Bishop Gorman HS I would think he would have seen talent like Barnett before.
