I think it just comes down to each individuals threshold for optimism lol
Our record is plenty within reach to achieve our preseason goals, and though I'm pissed off a lot of the time we have managed to win ten of the last fifteen games. It's not a 14-game win streak but still a good trend moving forward.
I agree that is a great win % of .666
But are they capable of sustaining that ( or near that ) and NOT falling into a 5-6-7 game skid?
I am pulling like hell for them as I would LOVE to see some more Oct ball here in Seattle.
Time will tell and yes they have it within their grasp. But a lot needs corrected in the current play ( base running blunders - sloppy defense etc etc )
and they need a slugging shot in the arm to stroll into the clubhouse real soon ( be it Julio and Geno ) turning things around or a new face $$$
