Didn't watch at all last night but I saw a highlight of Choo throwing out Lomo at the plate. I felt like that play pretty well summed up this team. Choo made a terrific throw but the base running by Lomo was god awful. Not only is he slow as beans but he didn't tag up properly and got a bad jump and then slid into the catcher's glove instead of away from it. On a ball that deep the run should score easily but 80% of this team runs like beer league softball players so they don't. Ok rant over just kind of sums up how fundamentally challenged this team is.
