Hard to blame that base running mistake on any of the coaches. That was all Martin. He is the one who decided to go for 2nd.

Yeah and why does Aoki keep trying to bunt w/ 2 strikes? They said he's struck out 4 of 5 times this year when bunting w/ 2 strikes... Now he's 5 for 6 on the season... Does he have a green light to do so? Just curious...

Diaz's numbers were god like, so giving up some runs was bound to happen.

I'm impressed by the way Servais has handled him. You have to protect your kids, and it's a fine line to walk when it's a guy with his talent.

Loved that he dressed as Gumby for the rookie dress up thing.

So Toronto is in Boston, and Balt in New York .... We need to sweep and have New York or Boston just win the series 2-1 .... Detroit is @ Atlanta plus they have a make-up game from today's rain out... BOTTOM line though is we have to sweep to have a realistic chance at this...

It is a bit of a long shot that the M's squeeze in but still a possiblity. I don't want to get my hopes up because I am never an optimist when it comes to the M's.

Even when he doesn't seem to have it, most of time he battles enough to finish the inning anyway. A lot of time closers fully implode in that situation but he hangs in there. I'm actually impressed with what I see despite the increase in base runners

Anyone know the tiebreaker scenarios if Seattle, Baltimore, Toronto and Detroit all tie for the wild card?

I heard something about Seattle having the choice to either play 2 games at home or 1 game on the road, which would be the winner of Toronto or Baltimore or Detroit... Don't quote me, but I heard something about that.. So I guess we would have the choice... I could be wrong though... Just throwing it out there..
