WOW.... M's keep battling back... LET'S keep them off the scoreboard in the top of this inning, tired of giving it right back... Man I forgot how fun baseball can be in these kinda moments... WE haven't had this for 15 years..

Well the Mariners had a ton of chances to win this game and just couldn't get it done. Story of the season. Still this season ended up being better than just about anyone predicted, but they just blew too many games that they should have won. In no way am I disappointed that they lost tonight though. That would just be nuts.

23 runners left on base!

Back to back innings with the bases loaded and we couldn't capitalize

From the blown saves all year to missed scoring opportunities. Kind of fitting for the season to end like this.

Guess that means we can just focus on watching the Seahawks game tomorrow and not have to flip back and forth around the 3rd/4th quarter.

Definitely a good year for the M's ... So many opportunities to put this one away, but our bullpen was just giving up leads left and right.. We need to solidify that ... Team battled and that was cool, I don't think they were truly playoff ready to make a deep playoff run, but I still would a loved to see them get the chance... Hopefully the M's will continue to build things up, future could be bright with the new people calling the shots up top ...

Well, the fact that we came close was certainly a surprise. Destroydacre said it best that while we blew too many games during the season, this little rally that got cut short tonight...well, can't help but be impressed.

Jeez, I knew the "leave 'em stranded" move had been our trademark for years, but GOD DAMN! 23? In that game alone?!

Just rechecked the box score. It was actually only 22.

But yes 22 in THIS GAME ALONE! Unreal

The at bat that ticked me off the most was Cruz's at bat with the bases loaded in the 9th. He got two breaking balls well outside of the strike zone and he chased both like some anxious minor leaguer who was just called up

The bases are fricking loaded!!! Take those two pitches and now it's 2-0. Either get an easy fastball or draw a walk and we win.

That game stunk but glad to have the opportunity to have been able to talk Mariner baseball, with a chance for the postseason in the last weekend of the season... Especially when most of us thought they were done - it was a pleasant surprise...

Wonder what next year will bring...
