Game 1: C Flexen vs J Gray

Game 2: TBD vs E. Fedde

True, but getting a chance to give the arms a break is great. They aren’t old like the 2001-2003 team so a break should be fine. Plus with the roll they are on another day of clubhouse momentum is solid with the break coming up.

Yup.. just look at the Yankees.. they are slowly coming back to earth.

Also, the Blue Jays canned their manager after getting swept by the M's. Even the Orioles are exceeding expectations and playing .500 baseball. Tough division.

I was not a fan of Dave Sims at first but he grew on me over the years. Now I pretty much prefer listening to him call games.

Chris Flexen has been an absolute gem this first half of the season. Last time he gave up 5 or more runs was nearly 2 months ago. Did that only twice this year.

Let’s hope he holds it together for the second half.
