Fun fact:
Angela is played by Portia Doubleday....she's the daughter of former actor Frank Doubleday who's had some bit parts on TV shows in the 70's & 80's, and a handful of movies in his career...including perhaps his most famous role in the John Carpenter classic Escape From New York, in which he played Romero, the freakish sidekick & right hand man of The Duke (Isaac Hayes).

I think they making her go the corporate route, and she is bluring the line between doing what is right and selling out. When she told the whistle-blower lawyer that she was done working with her, the lawyer basically called her a whore. I suspect the show will play on this comparison.

Good call, not only going corporate route, but seemingly being handed the keys to the kingdom by the biggest user of people on the show. Wild drug induced episode though, dont know how they are getting away with the fuckers again, they let a motherfucker thru at the beginning then quieted out later fucks.

Elliot puking his guts out almost made me puke my guts out.

Also - The rapper - in real life (can't remember his name of character) - IS he real or another one of Elliot's delusions?

The dude the gave the basketball back to the guys is also just as nuts as Elliot

Still kept me interested, getting kind of person of interest without the time line telling you they are going into the past. Almost getting a feeling of "this is for the slow people that should have figured this out already". Then a spot to show where the mask came from and instagramming it, well the movie should get plenty of hits now, but if they were in the past, how big was instagram when that conversation happened? Was it 5 years ago when Instagram is barely 6 years old?

It's just ok. Nothing to really talk about so far. They really drug out the first 4 episodes. Probably could have told everything they needed in just 2 episodes. This past episode was the first one where it finally felt like the plot was actually going somewhere.

Also, how the eff does Dom survive the shoot out? It looked like she hid behind a desk. Pretty sure bullets can pass through office furniture

That was a bit of a whacked episode. They actually did not have a commercial break until 21 minutes in just to sell the whole feeling of that hallucination start (outside of the Evil-Corp ads and the old Budlite ad).

It looks like Elliot and Robot have come to a kind of truce, though. That could be an interesting development.

That episode was a little too "cute" for its own good. Like you could tell they wanted people to be impressed by how out there it was. Stop trying so hard to be smart and edgy

I definitely didn't fully appreciate the full "artistic value" behind that last episode, but I did thoroughly enjoy it. Cool shit.

They should have used Rhonda and Gilbert Gottfried in the Up All Night promo.

when he got jumped by the fence and you heard the zipper, I was like, really? Then the whole realization he was in prison all this time was one of those moments where they had everyone lost.

Nah, it happened. The consensus is Ray was a prison guard of some kind and recruited Elliot to work on the site from inside the prison. Honestly, that whole reveal was just stupid and unnecessary. It's a mindfuck for the sake of a mindfuck, not storytelling. The show is trying too hard
