I was wondering this as well. Wasnt it referred as "E-Corp" in E1? I think it has only been called "Evil-Corp" when he is in dream-sequences (the job offer, discussions with Mr Robot, etc)

It's E-Corp. But the story is told from Elliot's POV and because he's deranged, we hear "evil corp" every time its said by any character. Really, its more annoying than it is clever.

I also still haven't figured out if Mr Robot is actually real or not. Like Fight Club as everyone is mentioning. I mean in one scene it eluded to it when he went to the fairgrounds and the inside was completely empty.

He also said something like "I'm going all scizzo again" in the first or second episode. I think that alluded to it even more so. I think the scene you are talking about is more alluding to the fact that the hackers come and go randomly.

Also, for me, the 2nd episode's production values weren't quite as good as the first episode. You can always tell when there's a big break between filming a pilot and subsequent episodes if it gets picked up. The evil corp guy's hair is about 3 inches longer in the 2nd episode.

it's a convention, not a literal thing thing

Remember, in this show, the viewer is simply one of the voices in Elliott's head. Keeping that in mind, I think very little of what "we" see can be taken literally. Everything is filtered through demented lenses.

I agree, the first two were very good, this was just an alice in wonderland episode. The badass from evil corp was only a prop at a table. Hope they flip this around.

How terribly cliched was the bathroom scene last night? It's like some 14 year old horndog was directing and said "You know what would be cool? If the two girl characters made out!".

This show is quickly becoming shallow and eye rolling.
