I am thinking realistically C's or Knicks. Clippers might have a shot but I just don't see them having a better chance than the C's and Knicks (if they get #1).

The Clippers would need to get lucky with the ping pong balls.

Jaylen seems more like the right one to move. Jaylen, Rozier, Williams and 2 first rounders this year and the Memphis pick next year?

Lakers offer is a lot better than this one.

The Memphis pick is the best asset out of any of them.

Ball is 2nd.

Brown is probably 3rd. Followed by the Sacto pick.

After that, it’s all whatever

"A lot better"? Nah.

I guess it's debatable... but for a full rebuilding team, the better draft picks are a big edge.

I think that offer is comparable to what the Lakers offered. Maybe a bit better but not blow you away.

IMO, Ainge verbally committed to a better offer than that.

Rozier trade value is minimal because of RFA

Williams trade value is minimal because he isn't a top prospect. Similar value to Zubac or Hart.

Jaylen Brown has similar trade value to Brandon Ingram

The picks are nice. But the overall package is weak as hell. If the Celtics don't include Tatum and the Memphis/Sacto picks they aren't getting Davis. It is simple as that.

Your argument suggests the proposed C's and Lakers packages are similar... not that the Lakers package is "a lot better"... that was my point there.

We'll see what Ainge's low ball offer is this summer.

It doesn't assume that at all.

I was picking apart @LogicMan's low ball offer. That is all. Celtics have to do better because someone else will beat them if all they are trying to do is match the Lakers.

I think you’re underselling Williams and the picks. But it’ll be interesting to see what the final package is.

We'll have to agree to disagree on this point... the Lakers offer is not "a lot better" than the offer Logic proposed back there.

This is a separate point... that said: I don't disagree with you here.

A lot depends on whether Davis would resign. I do think Danny would make a trade even without a long term signing. He has been in love with AD openly as is Wyck
