I think Sale lasts 4.5 innings and gives up 5 runs. That's my story and will stick with it until I'm proven wrong.

This team now should already be on par with last year's team, if everyone is performing as expected. I guess my answer is: I don't want to make another trade just to get where we were at the end of last season... I'd only want to make another sizable trade to go from "in the mix," as they were last year, to "the team to beat." And I don't see this team being "the team to beat" even with one sizable trade as buyers.

I agree with not trading just to get where we were at at the end of last season. I just am not sure if JD would agree with us since he was willing to make 2 deals last season to get to that point.

Sale is a different animal this year and combine that with this team's propensity to rack up huge strike out totals, I think it will be a long day. Just looking at this road trip, the Red Sox series looks the toughest out of them all. We will have to watch little Nicky fight for his life in that band box of a ball park.

It might've been enough. We will never know. I think if we played the Orioles or Indians we would've had a good shot at going to the ALCS.

Our farm has taken too many hits recently. I have a bad feeling we're going to be doing just well enough to keep us from trading Lucroy and Cashner.
