Always preferred traditional uniforms. I don't care for the multiple uniform marketing aspect.

Thats not the point. its that Nike wanted to push another look for sales. It wasnt a game to them it was a runway show. Pathetic that they trotted them out in nothing that looked like Oregon. Meh Oregon has had plenty of black, whites, greys and various other combinations some with out green or yellow

You mean now they have. Prior to 2000 Oregon could still be recognized from the blimp. But once Nike decided to use them as manikins they started the trend of 12 different unis and 6 different helmets on a given year.
