Appearing on 97.5 The Fanatic in Philadelphia, the Philly Inquirer's Jeff McLane stated that he expects the Eagles to try to move up for Oregon QB Marcus Mariota in the draft.

This isn't the first we've heard of Chip Kelly's love for his college quarterback. "Unless I'm missing something here," said McLane, "the Eagles are going to do whatever it takes to get him." Acquiring Mariota would likely cost the Eagles most of their 2015 draft class, but would be well worth it if Mariota solves their quarterback problem. Philadelphia currently holds the No. 20 overall pick. They'll likely have to get into the top five, jumping the quarterback-needy Jets at No. 6

Man I hope he falls to us so we can fleece the hell out of someone

Here's the problem. To truly ensure that, they, or anyone else interested in picking either of the top 2 QBs, will have to move up higher than 5. SO the Titans are in the drivers spot. I expect that between the Jets, Browns, and Eagles, one of them will trade with the Titans to move into obvious position to land Winston or Mariota. My guess is it will be the Browns and they have 2 1st round picks this year and that has got to be very enticing to any team looking to rebuild (I know I would love to have those picks for the Redskins). Its unfortunate, but we just didn't suck bad enough last year. They only good news is that at 5, we should be in a position to land either DE Williams (long shot) or a damn good OLB/pass rusher to replace RAK.

I don't want it to just cost them their entire draft, I want future #1's involved. I want the package to be more than what we traded up for Griff so we will no longer be the team who made the worst trade ever.

With that said it is obvious that Chip can do things with MM. But IMO it will be the run and shoot, it will not last.

I believe it will involve multiple #1's.... No way they are moving from 20 up that far without giving up at a minimum nexts years first along with several picks this year!!!! I hope they do make the trade up!!! But as said earlier..Cleveland with 2 #1's this year has to have an edge on any other team looking to move up.....2 1's this year is better then 1 this year and 1 next year...when trying to rebuild

That is basically the going rate to trade up from the 20th to the 4th position. Personally, I think it would be a good trade. The Raiders have been good in the mid to late rounds recently in finding diamonds in the rough. Reggie McKenzie is determined to build the team through the draft and I think that having that many early and mid round draft choices would be exactly what he would want. Although, I believe that if Cleveland is interested, I would like that trade a lot more; two 1st's and a 2nd or 3rd.

Well you are certainly entitled to your opinion...but moving from the #4 to the #20 and taking on a 2nd, 3rd, and 2 4ths along with that #20 pick, is NOT a good deal Dude...... If Reggie did that, I would have to bet he would never get another GM job when he gets fired in the next couple years

It should cost Philly 3 first round picks to get to #3. I think both teams should do it. If you don't count the swap its costing Philly 2 1st round picks in 2016 and 2017. To get the guy that made your coach a superstar, I think Philly should do it. Of course the Jags will take that deal.
