looks great! Sony has been pretty solid with the Spider-man universe
Both Amazing Spidermans and Venom sucked HUGE balls.
But to each their own. I am not saying this looks terrible albeit, I do not like Jared Leto. But I am worried because the director has not done anything that would lead me to assume this would be really good. The writers also haven't done anything good with the lone exception being Roy Thomas, one of the writers on Logan.
Unless I hear great things... I'll redbox it.
I think he was talking about Spider-Man into the spiderverse which was a great movie and a huge success the other Spider-Man movies along with venom did indeed suck but as far as venom goes success depends on how you measure it, Venom did pull in numbers at the box office
I thought Venom was pretty good
and yes, Spiderverse was awesome.
I think they will be able to tie it all together at some point.
Ok, I will give ya that. I also thought Spiderman into the Spiderverse was really good. I actually thought that if any Marvel movie were to be nominated for Best Picture that year, it should have been that one, not Black Panther.
This is a must see for me. Will this hit theaters or go directly to online stream?
I just saw the "new" Venom: Let There Be Carnage and it came off as a rushed story with tons of bloodless cgi. It was mediocre at best. Two direct mentions to Venom in that trailer, and the poster in the background referring to Spidey as a murderer.
I don’t remember is Venom made any references to anything MCU or Spidey related. Is it possible this universe will be an alternate universe that will be more defined in No Way Home? Spidey’s residence in the MCU has always been tenuous anyway, and lots of rumors of his being moved to a different universe in canon in NWH anyway…
The January release usually indicates no faith in it from the studio. So not a great sign.Trailer for this movie, which has been delayed to Friday, January 28, 2022:
Redbox? They still in business?
