Who's been talking about the riches at QB? They've had good QB play but not the type that can put them over the top. If the Huard kid can follow suit like the rest of his family than yes he'll put them over the top, but that's still a mystery until he plays.

So all joking aside, what was the thinking when Lake was promoted to head coach? Was he ready? Did he have the pedigree?
I was good with the Lake hiring and I do believe he was ready. My question was bringing in the ex-OC from PSU. I wasn't a fan of that move and look at what the offense produced last night.
Have to admit their offense, much like Oregon's, looked anemic.
Next week for both teams we'll see what changes will be made to get the offense clicking.
I see Oregon getting a major beat down. This is the Cristobal offense. Run up the middle exclusively and short throws. It's horrible.

They looked bad as FS loaded the box. Which is what teams do to a team that runs every time up the gut. If we start challenging the edges and run a few fly sweeps that box will get lighter.
