I'm GM'ing for the Cardinals in the Mock Draft forum and for anyone that cares so far I've taken:

24th- CB Jalen Collins from LSU
55th- DE Preston Smith from Mississippi State

Filling in needs right now but I think I might target a RB in the third round, there are plenty that I like. What you guys think so far?

Collins was projected to go in the 12-25 range and Smith in the late first round btw. Call me Keim Jr. ;)

I like it so far. Smith could be the future opposite CC in a few years. RB/C/OLB are probably the biggest area of need left. It looks like Jay Ajayi, David Johnson, & T.J. Yeldon are all still on the board.

Had to settle for David Cobb from Minnesota in the third round. Backs started going off the board FAST… Yeldon was my initial target before he was taken, but I feel like Cobb could compliment Ellington well.

I think Yeldon was available with Johnson and Ajayi going slightly before.

3.9.73: Atlanta: Jay Ajayi - RB - Boise St.
3.10.74: N.Y. Giants: Jaquiski Tartt - SS - Samford
3.11.75: New Orleans: Devin Funchess - WR - Michigan
3.12.76: Dallas: Gerod Holliman - FS - Louisville
3.13.77: Cleveland: Hayes Pullard - ILB - USC
3.14.78: New Orleans: Jamil Douglas - OG - Arizona State
3.15.79: San Francisco: Ifo Ekpre-Olomu - CB - Oregon
3.16.80: Kansas City: Ronald Darby - CB - FSU
3.17.81: Buffalo: Derron Smith - FS - Fresno State
3.18.82: Houston: Bryce Petty - QB - Baylor
3.19.83: San Diego: David Johnson - RB - Northern Iowa
3.20.84: Philadelphia: Nate Orchard - OLB - Utah
3.21.85: Cincinnati: Tyler Lockett - WR - Kansas State
3.22.86: Arizona: David Cobb - RB - Minnesota
3.23.87: Pittsburgh: Danielle Hunter - DE - LSU
3.24.88: Detroit: Grady Jarrett - DT - Clemson
3.25.89: Carolina: Donovan Smith - OT - Penn St.
3.26.90: Baltimore: Henry Anderson - DE - Stanford
3.27.91: Dallas: Mario Edwards Jr. - DE - Florida St.
3.28.92: Denver: Marcus Hardison - DT - Arizona State
3.29.93 : Indianapolis: Kurtis Drummond - FS - Michigan St.
3.30.94 : Green Bay: T.J. Yeldon - RB - Alabama

Given how this mock draft played out, would you prefer the Cards to take an RB earlier even though we got good value? Or would you be happy with one of those 4 in the third?

I was away from my computer and they skipped my pick because I didn't make it within the hour given in between picks. I think like 10 picks were made before I was able to pick so I would've been able to get Yeldon if I was on at the right time.

But yeah, I think if defensive studs fall to us in the first two rounds and fit our needs we should take them. I really like Johnson, Ajayi, Yeldon and Cobb so I'd be content with any of the 4 in the 3rd round.

Totally completely fair. I appreciate what you do for the local sports boards.

Which RB would you rather have tho? (I only know what I read so I am clueless)

I would go Ajayi, David Johnson, Yeldon, & Cobb in that order. My Preference would be to grab Tevin Coleman in the 2nd if he were to drop to us. I wouldn't touch Abdullah, Duke Johnson, or Langford.
