Players had to play a game in the 1990 season or later, a player that played one game in 1989 or earlier is not eligible.
So, their 1st game has to be in 1990 or later?

I've got an idea for a draft or drafts, that's been breached before, it may suck, but it's different.
In NFL, the first five rounds, you can select anyone one want, even if that player has been drafted before. Any player can be drafted by up to 4 different teams, but once that player is drafted, his clock starts immediately, and anyone else that drafts him must take him within one physical round. I think this starts some strategy, because you might say, if player A was taken, the next three guys might take him as well, but one of those guys might want to start the clock on a different guy. This can go on through round 6, then all players picked are off the board and it's one pick per player after that
CorrectSo some teams will have the same players?
Correct. Don't see it mattering in this. If say you take Moss and so do I, it will come down to who I have covering him and who I have around him. We can only do this through six rounds(or 4, whatever)So some teams will have the same players?
I have an idea for this one.I say soon we do an off-the-wall crazy draft, possibly one of Milk's ideas. (Possibly, but most likely not)
I mentioned it before and it got some "Hmm..." type responses. I think I remember someone saying something to the effect of we should save this idea until we really feel like shaking it up.

Anyway, we throw everyone in the pot (maybe do a year restriction, but it doesn't really matter) and we draft 3 franchises (or 4), an NBA, an NFL, and a MLB (4 if NHL). The idea is that you could draft Kareem in the 1st and Lawrence Taylor in the 2nd and Lou Gehrig in the 3rd. We have 3 (or 4) separate playoffs where we give points to the top 4 in each sport. We count the points and crown an overall champion. We could even choose cities for our franchises if you want.
I don't know bout that one...So basically kinda like an Olympics sort of points system for ex:
1st place - 4 points
2nd place - 3 points
3rd place - 2 points
4th place - 1 points
We do that for all 3 sports. But basically it is one huge draft? 22 rounds NFL, 5 rounds NBA, maybe 18 rounds MLB to combine them into one 45 round draft? That could be interesting.
What about the 1990 through present with a cap? AP All Pro is $2 per, Pro Bowl is $1 per, No all star's are free. Also, MVP is an extra $2 per, OPOY and DPOY an additional $1 per
You have to pair EVERY player? That could get rough. Maybe like, pair up your 1st 5 picks. They can't have been teammates themselves.
Yeah I agree with this. 24 players total but maybe you NEED 4 pairs of teammates (had to play 2 seasons or more together on the same team for those 2 seasons). Since we only have 4 pairs we make this a salary cap too
Any 4 players have to have teammates, or or your 1st four chosen, or any player selected in the first 4 rounds? Those are 3 different things.
