I think they will though. There first 10 games were against the pAAAdres (7 games) and the Pirates (3 games). They lost to Milwaukee last night and they play much stiffer competition over the next 26 games (3 easy ones in those 26). We'll see what they're made of soon. I just don't think they have the pitching to maintain their current record.

You didnt convince him. He doesnt think past the one game. Your 8/4 comment was solid, and would have won him over if he thought deeper than surface.

He wants the min QS to be an All-Star average start. 6/3 is 160 IP, 4.50 ERA. That is a solid 3/4 starter.

Thanks. I'm glad my argument came through clearly. I'm just a little tired of the "4.50 ERA ISN'T A QUALITY START!!!!" rant. At least he admitted I made a good point about its relative infrequency.

I think you would have achieved "All your Talk Show are belong to tz" if you had extrapolated a 6/3 out to a full season and offered some sample players that that represents...
