What did you think about Fleck's choice to punt the ball when it was 4th and 1 late in the 2nd quarter? I thought that was a pussy call.

I sort of still like the idea of him and his energy and his overall philosophy being the leader of the fb program, but if he'd give up more control to his coordinators, or are they the ones making some of these dumb calls?

Thats the issue I think the current coordinators also suck. But its his game plan.

If you can only have one game plan which is the RPO offense we run you cannot have a QB like Morgan especially with the shitty receivers the gophs currently have too.

The 3 of them, when all on the same sideline, were something like 24-3 going into the Purdue game. Coordinators can't help it when top players go down to injury. But you might be right, good coordinators adjust and know how to use the players they have available. So I might not disagree with you, I'm a little less adamant about it than you.

Well, you could argue that he was trusting his defense. Even if he made that catch that still wouldn't have given them a td, right? I was just listening to the game so I am not sure if he had an open field before him, and didn't a Gopher defender have something to do with him not making that catch?

Aw, Nebbie came up with some creative offensive play calling early on and caught UMn off guard, then the Gophers adjusted, shut your Huskers down offensively causing them to endure how many straight 3 and outs? Scored 20 straight points and won the game, simple as that.

You could say that about every single decent player who ever played the game that didn't play for a Natl Title winning team, and EVERY SINGLE NEBRASKA player since 1998?


Ibrahim has been on teams that won 11, 9 and this year they could win 10 games.
Did any better programs recruit Mo?

He could have transferred, he chose to remain at UMn.
