i think he does. he just doesn't want to announce it before the bowl game because that means that he probably has to hand over the reigns before the bowl too. he wants to coach the bowl game so that he can assure that the D is playing the way he wants them to play. going through a coaching change in time for a bowl game is difficult

I don't know much about the guy but he sounds like an absolutely outstanding young coach.
