Being a Miss St alum this one hurts but he was loved around the college football world and sport world in general. I remember when he flew into Starkville the day he was hired, it was like Miss St just hired the greatest coach ever, masses assembled. Funny thing is most watched him just as much for his interviews and press conferences than his great football mind. He was a character. RIP.
His rants about fat little girlfriends and Halloween candy will never get old. Him blowing up in the locker room after that Baylor game 2 decades ago takes the cake though.
