Donald Young is as mad of a comparison as you can go.

The guy had zero success in his career.

There very high expectations for him when he was a junior. He won about everything back then.

Yeah but once he became a professional we knew he was trash.

I gave him 2 years before I gave up on him

I was all set to watch Shapovalov here at work but they are replaying his last match on TSN LIVE.

Is it raining in Miami??

Yep. Suspended due to weather right now.

The first women's semi finals only played 2 games so far.

Fed played with a vengeance!! Revenge was clearly on his mind. When Fed is on he can pretty much beat anyone!! He let a break slip away in the second but he still had enough grip on the match to win it. Andoo got tight serving at 4-4.

So the game is afoot.

Isner vs The Kid and in the battle of one handed backhands, Shapovalov vs Rog.

I have my popcorn ready.

Shapovalov has a lethal southside backhand. And boy does he run balls down.

Will be interesting to see if The Kid can handle the big Isner serve.

I'm stoked.

I didn't see a lot of the Aussie Open due to it's time slot here, but watching this on my new huge TV screen is extremely satisfying. Last night they even broadcast the last half of the Shapovalov match with no commentators. Huge scree + great surround sound = almost there live.....

Have you ever been to the Canadian Open?

I'll watch the tiebreakers on the ESPN 3 on-demand, so I can see what Auger-Allassime is like.

The fact he took a huge server like Isner to 2 tiebreakers, breaking him once in each set, at the tender age of 18 , should tell you how he is.

I guess, but I don't expect Isner to win tiebreakers. He seems to lose most of them in "big matches".

And with the way Auger-Allisme is playing, and given that it was a SF, that's a big match.

Fed routed Shapo. Picked up where he left off with Andoo. Lately he hasn’t been closing the deal in finals. So I am not predicting anything
