We lose this game without Wade

I know Wade is your guy - He is our guy -- But to say that might be a little crazy. With just 3 points and 4 turnovers I wouldnt say we lose the game without him.

Though I would say we probably DO lose the game were it not for that late game scenario I mentioned earlier where came up with his stellar blocking skills and sparked that Ellington dagger 3.

Really disappointed it didnt end in the blowout it couldve been because I think Spo wouldve tried giving Wade and Haslem a shot together on the court in final moments of the game.

Maybe next time.

Lost track of the other scores but I dont think the Heat make much gains tonight with this win?

4 Game losing streak over. Heat win on the night D-Wade returns to the Heat

Should not have come down to the wire as it did but I think all those " We Want Wade" chants caused a lack of concentration at the end and for them to take foot off the gas. Hopefully all that SportsHoopla is out of everyones system after tonight and they can just get back to playing basketball.

It was a good night for the Heat from the FT both as far as attempts and makes.

Good game for TJ - a bounce back game. Winslow, as I said earlier, was doing a lot of other things while scoring wasnt working.

Bam was just playing out of his mind which was much needed on a night Hassan was doing his thing picking up some silly, consecutive fouls.

A tough one awaits us in Toronto. Personally hopeful K.O. returns to give us another healthy body out there. And hopefully Goran will be ok with what looks to be just a cut.

Yeah hoping K.O will be good to go as we don't play til Tuesday. This gives him another 4 days to get ready.

One thing I'll say when KO returns, the rotation is going to get very interesting. He been using a 9 man rotation with heavy minutes for his 4 bench guys (all 4 tonight played 21+) so either someone falls out of the rotation or minutes are cut down for certain players and Spo go with a 10 man rotation. I think we should go with a 10 man rotation because none of these guys deserve to fall completely out of the rotation

That is why I said it. Without the right timing there, Bledsoe make the shot or make the shot and get the foul as well. Different ball game if Wade doesn't block that shot. Would have been up one possession needing a score which would be tough considering how poor the offense was tonight.

I like Wade coming off the bench. Prefer him as the backup PG instead of TJ. Think we'll see a better version of Wade on Tuesday with 3 off days and probably a couple of practices to get used to his teammates.

A couple of things:

I think the Heat should try to get CB to come to our next home game after the break to have an embrace with D-Wade. That would no doubt get the crowd fired up.

As for the rotation, the latest Ask Ira has to do with exactly that:

Its something I have said all season long, Spo needs to go back to what he did for what seemed to be only the first 2 weeks of the season - that is, play an expanded rotation where we had a bunch of guys play but in shorter spurts -- always keeping guys fresh.

I would like to see 10 guys per game:We got our starters:Hassan,K.O.(when healthy) Winslow, Richardson, Goran

And then we come off the bench with:Bam, Ellington, TJ,JJ,Wade - you can throw Luke in there now, or McGruder(when healthy) or whoever else you want off the bench depending on game situation.


On a good night, there is versatility on both ends of the court from all these guys - it may not be an elite bench as far as scoring - but I will take the versatility and all the little things they are capable of doing well -- especially in close/late game situations.

Injuries will always happen but with a more expanded rotation and guys staying fresh -- you make yourself a little less prone to it.

Totally agree with this. A 10 man rotation can only help as it would keep everyone fresher since guys won't be playing as many minutes

Per 247Sports, which I would say is a shit resource to read your stuff on - but that it was noteworthy that they wrote about D-Wade being the biggest problem in the Cavaqueers locker-room according to their coach.

Something tells me it has more to do with Queen James but he always gets a free pass for every thing and Wade was made the scapegoat.

As The Queen said herself, he noticed that Wade really wanted to come back to Miami so maybe thats why there was a bit of a misinterpreted disconnect.

The Queen is a homewreck every where she is. Wade is back where he belongs and is happy and appreciated

Makes sense. By not playing him these 2 games prior to the ASB, it gives him roughly 2.5 weeks to heal from the injury as the Heat don't play until next Friday after Wednesday.

Just hoping we're able to go 1-1 on this trip then hoping we take major advantage of playing 7 of 9 following the ASB at home.
