He also played crunch time minutes over James Johnson who was the best player for Miami tonight

You are up 23 at half and your Big is dominating going 7-10 and you don’t draw up plays for him? You play 36 year old Wade 20 plus minutes on second night of back to back. The third quarter is a damning indictment of this staff. Only one game up in lost column of 9th place Detroit. Wade coming back disrupts things. Yep. I don't even think it is an indictment of this staff. It is an indictment of Spo. Assistants have come and gone but this none Spo teams could ever play well in the 3rd quarter. That is a head coach problem.

As for Wade, if they're going to use him as they did in the first 2 games then I have no issue with bringing him back. Use him as the backup PG, don't run any plays for him, and have him get his buckets by being a slasher and cutting to the basket. Using him as they did tonight would totally disrupt things. Running your offense through him is just silly.

This team is in great danger of not making the playoffs. This team was 29-21 in 4th place just 2 weeks ago. Now they're losers in 7 of their past 8 games and 1.5 games up on 9th place.....also the teams ahead of them are now pulling away. They now have 3 more losses than the team directly in front of them.

If they don't go at least 6-3 in that stretch after the AS break where they play 7 of 9 then it is very unlikely they make the playoffs.

Let’s see if Riley helps his boy one last time over the break for this team to make a run and make the playoffs. Thought this team was always a 7-10 seed. Look at thei net plus/minus in points. Also, how does Spolestra keep Whiteside and Deagics heads in the game with his substitution patters. The Titanic is drifting woh a big iceberg ahead.

This was what I was afraid of when we brought him back -- and if we ever did bring him back one last time before he called it a career.

It doesnt matter who is to blame for the way things ended the first time around, but obviously the organization/Spo/coaching staff were going to try to soften things up again to try to fix things. I think that is part of why we saw this scenario of trying to make Wade the hero of the game tonight -- aside from him trying to be such himself as it is.

But I will give him some benefit of the doubt. I think if this was a normal close game he would probably be more willing to differ to other guys if he wasnt feeling it or didnt have the best of shots. I think the way the Heat lost the lead caused him to want to force the issue.

Either way, we now have the AS break to let these losses linger and regroup.

More importantly, we are ever closer to that all important 10th seed in the east!
