Up 4 games on Detroit with 19 games left. Absolutely no reason to not make the playoffs IMO

This is what I like to call the ever changing narratives of this fan base with every one win and loss.

Playoffs is no sure thing just yet. This win guarantees NOTHING just yet - other than the tiebreaker between the two teams.

This team is still slightly banged up and continues to be inconsistent.

Unless some miracle where they get healthy and dont lose anyone else for ANY time at this point -- our playoff fate will come down to the wire much like last season.

Fun times. Every game matters. No shortcuts.

This is why I think the "strength of schedule" talk in all sports is just silly - especially in basketball where you are going to face EVERY team in the league at some points or another - regardless of the amount of times you face each. Its a good argument in the NFL where they schedule based on a certain formula, but the NBA -- you face ALL teams multiple times.

We are first-hand witnesses with the Heat that what is on schedule/on paper often, so as not to say ALWAYS, becomes irrelevant once both teams set foot on the hardwood.

Its fun and interesting to look ahead to give us something to discuss - but AGAIN, the heat are a great example that doing such is not the smartest thing to do.

As of last night, the Heat must prepare for each game and approach each game with a HIGH level of focus and intensity - cant let up against ANYONE -- this team has failed to show they can get away with that consistently.

Seems likely - especially if Luke keeps playing like this - he will have earned the minutes.

At the same time, its just one game so its a little premature.

If Bam makes the most of whatever PT he does get, its only going to give Spo more to consider - lets hope thats the case
