The Bills and Jets are in on Cook. He was on Twitter driving through NYC and caused a massive erection for Jets' fans.

All week on ESPN Get Up Greedy Greene has been pushing that the jets will land both Cook and Deandre Hopkins and the Magic Man Rodgers will propel them to the SB.

You have to be very careful. Laughing too hard can cause a ruptured artery.

Bills are really trying, they just don't have the cap space $5.1M

Cap Space in the NFL matters only to a point. If you think you are in a Super Bowl window then you can easily manipulate the cap to make it work. Heck Patriots did it right before Tom left to try and maximize their window with him. Saints did it with Brees. Yes eventually that bill comes due and you might have a year or two of getting your cap situation back under control, but if the Bills are serious about thinking they have the roster to win a Super Bowl then go for it. Design a contract with a $1 million base salary and lots of guarantees that hit in later seasons.

Good to "see" you!
Dolphins, Jets, and Bills are all going to buy themselves a superbowl.
Can we have 3 superbowl winners this year? :suds:

Haha good to "see" you too. I'm sure these teams are feeling the pressure at this point that they have to keep going bigger. You don't go get Aaron Rodgers then cheap out on the rest of the roster like the Packers have done for years. Bills have more time, but they have been on that edge of Super Bowl contender only to come up a yard or two short. Dolphins well I kind of write them off because of Tua. He is being helped along by a great offensive minded coach.

Yes, the Fins should go for it. Cook is a complete RB. The Fins have enough talent to be legit contenders and they have the salary cap room to make it happen.
Cook wants to play for the Fins for a number of reasons. He's from South FL, tax benefits, and he knows the Fins are a team on the rise.
Looks like Cook has made his decision on Miami.
Could it be based on him being from Miami?

Real quiet here for unofficial start of the season. Ramsey going down was disappointing, hope that is the last of the impacting injuries before the season starts.

Across the league there's an average of one season ending injury every day.

This is "Hold Your Breath" time of year.

People aren't quite in shape and just try a bit too hard.

Ramsey will be back by December if not sooner. There is a lot of depth for the team at CB. Also, they drafted CB Cam Smith early. He got hurt today. Hopefully it's only a minor injury.
The Fins have other CBs who will have a legit chance to prove themselves.
I think that the Fins defense will be much better than last year.
The offense is going to score even more points this year. McDaniel wants the fastest skilled players in the league. He's got it. Speed is so difficult to defend but it will be fun to watch.

Noy much on the severity of the tear.

Problem with tearing the meniscus is the body's ability to adjust to the repair.

From personal experience with my grandson, the progression is very slow at first. Then one must be careful not to try to do too much and tear the adhesions. Of course, the pros have a ton more drugs available to speed up the "healing" process.

I would say they score more points if Tua is on field all season, but that is not likely IMO.

For surgical meniscus repair, full recovery is 3-6 months.
Condition of the meniscus prior to injury makes a difference.
If the Dolphins are not in a battle for the division championship, they will likely shut him down for the year.
Coming back in the heat of the battle in January does not sound like fun......

I would be surprised if the Fins aren't in a divisional battle late in the season. If you are thinking that they will do so well that they will be resting starters late, it's not impossible but unlikely with the Bills in the division.

Fins may be in a divisional battle late in the season.
More injuries and/or the Tua factor and a tough schedule could thwart Dolphins plans.
If they are not in a divisional battle, they'd have to consider "saving" Ramsey for a fresh 2024.
Bringing him in January may not be a best practice......

I have a new respect for Ramsey having seen how he is still a big part of team activities while dealing with his injury.
He will be playing. If you think that the Fins wont be good enough to make the playoffs, you are fooling yourself.

Yep he looks like he's doing everything possible to stay with the team which is a good sign. Cough cough Byron Jones.... Some young guys will have a shot to improve with the added reps as well. Hopefully good enough where JR won't have to rush back and ease himself in.

Wynn will be a terrific backup option at LT and could take Eich's spot if the OG doesn't improve. Wynn, has less experience at RT however he played there last year. It was his first year on that side so it was a learning experience.

Cedric O has been signed. He has more experience at RT and more success on that side of the line. He could become Jackson's greatest competition.

I am feeling a lot better about the Fin's Oline after these new additions.
Wynn is in mid-season form - manning the PUP list!

Huh he played on Friday night? Apparently looked pretty good at LG there's a battle there which is good to hear as it means better depth on the oline.
