Ainge says, “Yes, we finally got the message. Just needed Conley to sit. Damn, should have traded him instead.”

What's the message? That they need Conley Jr. to win?

I think the Larry Bird quote is pretty damn stupid. Especially when one is applying it to a specific stretch of games. We haven’t played all 82 so of course there’s going to be a bad 25. If Bird and his teammates weren’t so talented, the schedule would matter more to them. We are not the Celtics and we don’t have Larry. Instead we have inconsistent Lauri. So therefore, yes, $&@“! a 25 game stretch can be difficult. The Jazz aren’t making excuses because there will be a favorable 25 game streak that they will want a pat their self on the back for.

We need everybody that we have to compete. So yes, Conley being injured is huge for us because we’re not good enough otherwise. Markkanen would be another. Of course, Clarkson would be another. While I want Sexton available, I think he can do it on the bench, eventually he’ll do it starting. And that’s not an insult, because I think whatever he is doing as a starter is something he can contribute as a bench player. Some people disappear on the bench. I don’t think he would.

Maybe Larry knew that Lauri was Larry.

Good find.

You were the first person that said Larry Bird said it, though.

I will find it. I got that from you. I think it was the whole reason why I named post as @nuraman00 favorite time of year.

I really like the music note logo with the basketball.

It's one of the best logos in sports.

The broadcasters referenced Stockton and Malone, in a good way, when talking about Denver's offense.

I won’t say those words, and I believe some of the wins are due to players not playing, but I saw this:

I won’t say those words
Yesterday was the first time this season that there was a win good enough to say those words.

I didn't think it would take until mid January, for such a win to happen. I thought it would have happened sooner, like in October.
