People have turned on him pretty fast, especially with the latest string of de-commits. If he somehow wins out of finishes 3-1 he'll be safe but he's gone if they don't win at least two of these last four.

I still think he's growing into the job, but if they could get Matt Campbell I'd prefer that.

If you're going to offer someone $10 mil a year, I'd at least check with Saban or Urban. That's a ton to invest in a guy who hasn't been a college head coach and who hasn't coached in general in like 10 years.

Not only would he have to adjust from a pro to college mentality, he'd have to adapt to a game that kept evolving while he was in the announcers booth.
