Id assume there was a stat correction of some sort - like they originally credited McCoy with some of Gillislee's yards or Tyrod's yards or something.

happens frequently, but I've noticed this year that the fantasy sites make their adjustments sooner on most sites. Yahoo used to do stat corrections every WED morning. I think they do them shortly after the games finish now.

i'm assuming the same thing happened ....

just weird that the image i posted above, with the wrong results ... says it was updated Tuesday morning.

and it is still saying McCoy got 34 points in that image also

According to ESPN, McCoy lost one point for an erroneous reception in week 6.
From what I can see, that was the only adjustment for him.
So standard leagues saw no change.

Also, looks like most scoring changes are for IDP. Credit/adjustments for tackles, sacks and forced fumbles.

If you're on ESPN, you can go to Scoreboard > Stat Corrections (then pick the week)

this is definitely the answer i am looking for ... its a one point ppr league ... so this would explain the problem

but still odd all of their results would not reflect this update ... which i think led to the confusion

It used to be that sites like Yahoo and ESPN would not update the corrections until later in the week.
Imagine going half the week thinking you have edged out a win, when a stat correction on Wednesday or Thursday hands you a loss. I was in a league where that happened. (But not to me.)
but still odd all of their results would not reflect this update
I'm not sure I understand what you mean by this?
Can you clarify?

Ok. Yes, I see it.

Maybe the guy responsible at NFL.com had to stop what he was doing to get Goodell a coffee?
