MBBRL keeper league?

I agree that it would be easy to start with a simple keeper framework with the option to make it more elaborate in the future.

My ideal long term solution would be an auction draft where a player's price rises by X amount each year. I think that would be too difficult to pull off right now.

I love auction leagues... so i will second that wish... but lets first hope this league goes through...

nothing was decided... But it seems like that will be the way the league will go(if it happens)

I have never done an auction in baseball either. I have for other sports though.

From what I have read on here ROTO is the way most want to go, with a start of the same CATs we have in MBBRL. To make it go quicker I am going to say that is the way it will go unless someone speaks up against it. I will throw in there that if we get this league going this year, all CATs will be up for vote next year.

Fantrax is the only site most have mentioned.

It looks like because of time most want a keeper league.

Roster size is still up in the air.

Limits look to be 162 for O and between 1450 and 1600 IP for Pitching

If anybody wants to contest any of this I am more than happy to put it to a vote when I get back Monday night.


Also while we could do this league with 10 I would prefer we get two more owners. (as a side note on that we need to make certain all ten that said yes earlier are still interested. I believe the only two that haven't been in this thread are @bksballer89 and @da55bums)

Id only enjoyed AL only roto prior to MBBRL. Other than not rewarding doubles, my complaints are minimal.

And since OBX is also gonna suck at the auction, I'm feeling better about this. Lol
