i get a feeling he thinks long can replace chester . i have been getting this vibe that the organization feels foerster didnt develop guy like ribeye , long and moses

i dont know but i would hate the team to not draft some o/lineman on the premise that ribeye and long are answers

i feel like moses could be a bust

Amerson is iffy at corner, so corner and safety is a priority early in the draft, along with oline and edge rusher.

Well.....if the staff feels they are the answer, and can do as well or better.....I would hate them to draft some guys in the same 3rd round.....to hope to develope, when we have other needs.....and they feel we have the answer in house.......

We got these guys to develope, and hopefully not be a need in the future....Hers hoping...and Callahan is FAR Superior at coaching up his guys on the line!!!!!

i think we will need at least 2 more guys on the o/line . perhaps long and moses can pan out but you still need quality depth and this o/line class has depth

O line is a glaring weakness and theres no such thing as too much depth (especially at that unit). If the BPA happens to be an O linemen take him.

Agree.... But if Oline is not the BPA....then not going Oline will be ok if they are convinced we have a good oline.....


i agree with everyone on here that our Oline was TERRIBLE last year........Im hoping that we didnt waste two important 3rd round picks last year!!!!

we dont need an o/lineman at 5 if value isnt there , we can pick one up in rounds 2-4

I know we aren't going online in rd 1....but if BPA is .not up in rounds 2-4...then don't take them

I wouldn't be so sure about that. We probably won't take one at 5, but if we move back, it's a real possibility that we could choose an OT later in the round.

SM does not draft o-line pass the 4th round and for the record the whole line was not terrible last year it was just chestnut any polduffess levino is a power base blocker I can guarantee he will be 10 times better this year now thst we are ditching zone blocking

wow, there are so many holes on this team, I'm going to speculate we trade the 5th away.
There are tons of options at OT, the edge rushers available are barely 240lbs...they are not Von Miller level.
The organization won't draft a NT at 5, even if he's the BPA. So we may get get stuck with that Safety from Alabama if we don't trade down.

On the other hand, maybe Scott will show us how its done this time of year when it comes to building a team

virtually any way we go we will get help . i hope we dont go safety (collins) at 5 . but who knows ?

as long as we make some good picks with or without a trade down will be OK with me
