yep, as many have said, Rodgers will probably get 10% more than Ryan now that the bar has been set.

Wentz gonna get 200,000,000
Gonna destroys Philly's cap and a lot of good players are going to be gone trying to fit that contract in.

Wrong. Philly isn't gonna pay that much to a QB that will likely have his career ended this upcoming season...if't he's even able to play.

Sounds like someone is concerned about how much AR is going to r*pe GB for

Ah no not worried at all as the cap went up $10 mil and if Rodgers salary goes up from $21 mil to $33 mil or whatever he is just using up the additional cap that is being provided.

But say you have a rookie QB at the end of his first contract and he is making $2 or $3 mil a year and suddenly bumps up to $30 mil and the cap only increases $10 mil. In that case they need to cut $17 mil of cap space from other players on the team

Tell me that after he wins an MVP award and gets his team into the SB.

No. I'm telling you now. You ride with MVP's and SB's and whatever.....

Jimmy G. is a better QB than Matt Ryan.

Best player in the game. GB better hope he doesn't play hardball and threaten hitting free agency. But Rodgers is a guy worth spending over 16% of your cap on at least. Ryan??? Not so sure...
Best player is subjective and debatable.

Just another reason I'd take TB12 to lead my team, it's not all about the $$$$$$$$$.

Granted with a wife who makes more then him he could play for free.

Hope it is guaranteed for like the first 5 years. Won't have to worry about GB in the playoffs for 5 years.

It will get crazy for sure. Seattle thought they had it bad when they first had to start to pay Wilson a bigger salary. He could be at $50 mil in the near future

Seahawks, Russell Wilson could be on a Kirk Cousins-style collision course
Seattle thinks they're in rough shape now. Just wait until they need to deal with RW. Unless they start protecting him and getting him some new toys I don't think there'll be any home town discounts.

That's a good point until you factor in those other players coming up on contracts that want some of that $10M which is actually $12M in your scenario. Great you'll have an awesome QB with no talent around him. When the cap goes up besides the ticket prices going up everyone wants a little piece.

yeah, I get the dollars and all but not sure why anyone would sign up for that show going on in SEA. They can't draft or trade to save their lives anymore. It was bad enough when they just needed a RB, but now they need an entire offense and defense. A special teams wouldn't hurt either.

Still say that within 12 months Pete will have a health crisis that requires him to step away (and right into a college job).

Carroll should relinquish his role as a talent evaluator and just stick to coaching.

If Rodgers avoids injury the Packers are a lock to make the playoffs.

is he going to block for himself, throw to himself, run the ball himself, or tackle the other team by himself?

Or are you just pointing out the rest of the NFCN sucks?

Actually the NFC North is very competitive. Rodgers has been a one man show for the Packers.

So he has beaten the Cowboys single handed the last 2 times they've played? If it's that bad, what does that say about your boys???

Am I gonna have to sit here and troll the Lions fans all by myself?
