Both are a mere couple hundred yards from the 10,000 mark.

Being a Titans fan i can remember how awesome CJ was when he arrived in the NFL. He broke records held by Jim Brown,Barry Sanders,Marshall Faulk and broke off many long runs. CJ Had over sixteen runs and five catches fifty yards or greater for a total of twenty one plays that went for fifty yards or greater. Had it not been for a holding call by Hoculi in the last game of the season CJ would've broke the Dickerson record they called a 75 yard run back. Years later Hoculi admitted he messed up the call.

I really liked Forte a lot as well.

I'm sure it's not a mistake that the Johnson stuff is in bigger font than the Forte stuff, or that you made this thread at this moment of course.

I understand wanting to reflect on Johnson's accomplishments, though. After all he's the only noteworthy player the Titans have had in more than a decade, and even he was kind of a fad.

While the Bears and Jets in that time have also been pretty irrelevant, Forte has had a nice career and while unspectacular, maintained a good level of play for a while. He deserves praise for that.

i will always give johnson props for being the only titan to show up in foxboro one snowy sunday.

i think the titans had -2 yards passing over 2 QB's that day. johnson ran for like 130.

Tennessee Titans at New England Patriots - October 18th, 2009 | Pro-Football-Reference.com

brady threw 6 TD's, and johnson just kept tying.

Not one of our best days. Terrible

Whats crazy is to this day CJ still holds the most yards from scrimmage and also the most TD runs over 80 yards. He broke records by Jim Brown,Barry Sanders,Marshall Faulk. If he comes back next season he will go over 10,000 yards.

well, he also wanted 2k yards...selfish or not, in 2009. its part of the reason he kept going...but, he did.
