Hoffman has no Major, and he seems to be another one of those first round 'surprise' leaders at the Masters that becomes an afterthought. He's a good player, but I expect him to come back to earth at some point in this tournament.

Funny stuff.....Hoffman's round yesterday was easily one of the better ones in Masters history. If the conditions are similar, I'll be impressed if he manages something around par.

I mostly agree, but I wouldn't dismiss him just yet. He's always been sort of a streaky player. Has a win each of the last 2 yrs, maybe he feels like it's his time.

With the wind in the forecast the pins were pretty gettable yesterday and they might do that today as well. He's got a mid morning time...I can see him hanging around if his iron play holds up...maybe top 10.

Hoffman had it to -8 after his birdie on #2, but gave it back on #6...so -7 is still the number.

Wind is still pretty strong, even par I think will go a long way for Charlie....Sergio is one of the few in red numbers for the day right now....-2 for the day, -3 for the tourney.
