Winston rumors swirl. I'm 5000000% on board

aside from moore or bortles the rest aren't any better. I'd be happy with bortles too Didn't know he was available
Somethin tells me they'll be interested in Flacco. His knowledge & history of this division would be overvalued by this staff. As a backup, I'd be "meh" over it.

Just wish they had some sort of relief at that position. I'm willing to let Mason ride on the roster but I'd prefer he was QB3 vs QB2.

no just no, hes so washed up, and never was. Id honestly rather have mason than flacco.......winston is a play for the future too IMHO........

Jameis was the yardage leader this season, but also far and away the Int leader.

And came in 2nd for TD's.

Some team has to think they can fix his Int problem.

Yeah Im ok with that TBH. We wouldnt be paying him starter money. Hes got the talent, hes got the accuracy, hes a gunslinger kinda like ben........if he can sit for a year or maybe 2, and let things slow down for him.......its worth the shot........you get a clearly talented former #1 overall pick.......if he sucks balls, then you had a good back up for a few years that you paid a bit much for, if he corrects, you have a ben replacement entering his prime.

The only draw for him here, is that he goes to a great franchise.....would have the chance to take over for ben, ala bridgewater(who ended up leaving). Hes not getting a starter gig this year. Hes gotta weigh three options. Where is his best chance to start? Where is his best place to learn? Where is his best destination for FUTURE success and playing time.

I think we fit alot of those criteria.....

He's also been around for 6 years. If he's still an Int whore, can he be fixed?

How much does anyone think his Lasik will actually help

hes always been a high interception guy, you live with that because of his gunslinger mentality. But hes not normally a 30 int player, hes had 15 his first year 18 his secon, 11 his 3rd (in 13 games), 14 his fourth(in 11 games.

So prior to this year he avg about 1 pick per game prior to this year, about 17 a year would be his norm..........this year was bad......

Ben his last 4 years(not counting this year, avg right around 1 per game as well FWIW.

Ben was more careful earlier in his career

Top is ben, bottom is jameis. Obv last years INT were huge but the prior 4 years, hes more volatile than ben, but not crazy more......especially in the past 5 years......

I would consider taking a shot on him for a budget price. He's certainly got more potential than either backup we used last season. They will never be anything but a backup.

Agree. I guess ThTs the play imho. If you can get him you get a good back up. With the possible upside of a Ben replacement that you don't need to wait to develop. If he isn't that replacement, you at least had a good back up.

Not sure what there is to this... But doesn't sound good for Paxton Lynch.

Report: Dolphins fielding trade inquiries on Josh Rosen - ProFootballTalk

Any chance the Steelers are considering Rosen as Ben's backup?

Still don't like Rudolph or Duckboy. Was a Rosen fan coming out and think he's been given the shaft. Still like his upside.
I wouldn't mind. Talent-wise this is definitely an upgrade. Only thing I don't like about it is he's always been known as a selfish & entitled prick. So as far as being a helpful lockerroom presence... He'd probably be a downgrade.

Rosen being a QB3 means his value is pretty minimal. I'd offer a 6th or 7th for sure.
