I know man, it really sucks..last year they were pretty much out of it when he went down so it was a little easier to take. Do they make a waiver trade or go with Davis/Flaherty? Poor guy, hope he keeps his spirits up. And i hope this isn't something that cuts his career short over time.

I think they have to make some short of wavier trade if someone is available. Sucks Angels just picked up Beckham. Would be a upgrade over Flaherty.

After x-rays, it was discovered that the same thing that went wrong in Machado's other knee last year, the same ligaments in this knee were weak as well, so Machado decided to go ahead and have the surgery.
